Microchipping

Did you know numerous pets become separated from their owners each year in the Chattanooga area? Engraved collars and posting flyers can certainly be helpful, but sometimes collars are lost, and posters may be overlooked. Fortunately, Lee Parkway Veterinary Clinic offers a form of permanent identification known as a microchip.

A microchip is a device approximately the size of a grain of rice, inserted under the skin of the pet. Each chip has a unique identification number that is linked to your contact information. Most veterinary clinics and shelters are equipped with a special device which can read the identification number that can then be used to contact you to bring your precious pet home.

Being separated from a pet is a scary feeling. You can make it more likely to be reunited by implanting a microchip at Lee Parkway Veterinary Clinic. Please call one of our caring team members to schedule an appointment.
